Discover Slovenian Open Science

Exhibition in Koper and Ljubljana
Published on: August 7, 2025

The exhibition "Discover Slovenian Open Science" presents open science to the broader public in an accessible and visually engaging way. It shows how open access to scientific content can drive innovation, strengthen trust in science, and support more informed societal decision-making. The exhibition was developed with the active participation of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU). If your journey takes you to the Slovenian coast, you can visit the exhibition from 29 July to 18 August at Mala loža in Koper. In Ljubljana, the exhibition will open on 1 September at Gallusovo nabrežje, where it will remain on view for one month.

We also wish to inform you that the comprehensive online guide on planning research data management is now available in Slovenian. The guide offers an overview of key concepts, legal and ethical guidelines, and practical advice for every step of the planning process – including the tool "Complete your NRRP". The guide is a living document, growing alongside its users, and we warmly invite you to visit it regularly and contribute to its development. You can read more about the guide here.

The exhibition is part of the SPOZNAJ project, which connects research organisations across Slovenia with a clear mission – to bring science closer to people.
