Alternator is a Slovenian scholarly online journal written by researchers for all those interested in science and related topics. It publishes longer and shorter articles about discoveries, findings and developments in nature, society and technology in the form of a short scientific essay. The aim of the journal is to bring scientific research institutions closer together and to overcome the dichotomy between social sciences and humanities as well as natural sciences and engineering. It therefore welcomes contributions from all scientific disciplines. But reflections on science itself and all its labyrinths are also welcome.
